Musician scheduling is based on a request/invitation system. Once you’ve submitted your requested dates (below), we will curate the markets and send out invitations based on availability. Add our email info@farmhabit.com to your contacts so you don’t miss any communication!
If you request dates outside the initial booking window, you will be automatically added to the waitlist for that week. If we have a cancellation, we will reach out to you!

We are in the process of working to secure sponsorship to help further compensate our market musicians. Until then, we are able to offer the following compensation:
$30 in Market Bucks (can be utilized as cash anywhere in the market)
Tips, and the sale of your music or merchandise is allowed
As able we will promote you on our social media, through newsletters and other marketing platforms

We love supporting local and we want you to be successful! Here are tips we have seen help our past musicians:
Keep it upbeat! Musicians that play lively music tend to get more tips and have higher engagement with the crowd. It’s a farmers’ market and we want to keep things family friendly and positive. Familiar covers do really well, but we also love originals!
Engage! We have wonderful communities at our markets and we find that musicians who engage with customers really leave an impression. This can be as simple as smiling and acknowledging people who slow down to listen.
Fill in the gaps! While not required, our most successful musicians bring a speaker to play music while they are on a break. It takes the pressure off of you and keeps people engaged.
Support the farmers! Farmers’ markets exist because of our farmers!

For efficiency, we handle everything through email. This allows us to keep track of all of our vendors and minimize any communication errors. You can always speak with an onsite manager at the market to get further clarification on any questions you may have. Please remember that set up and break down are their busiest times of the day, so please be mindful and engage with them during the middle of the market when possible.

If you can’t attend your scheduled date, please email us with as much notice as possible so we can fill your spot.
We are a rain or shine market and only close for safety concerns.

Bring all of your musical instruments and accessories!
Bring a tip jar! We also recommend a sign with your social media handle and a Venmo or Cashapp option!

We are able to provide shade in the following markets: Playa Vista, West Hollywood, Westwood, Laguna, South Park
We are not able to provide power in Costa Mesa, Playa Vista, South Park - if needed, please bring a power source
We are not able to provide shade in Costa Mesa - if needed, please bring an umbrella or tent.
